Welcome
We can’t tell you how excited we are to have live audiences back in the theater for the first time in 16 months! We have dearly missed the energy, the conversations in the lobby, the laughter, the spontaneous reactions of folks running into friends – even the people at night that linger until we have to basically kick them out because they’re having such a good time visiting. You know, community! It’s what this theater was meant for. People talk about the new normal, but we are also hoping for a bit of the old normal to return (of course, keeping safety a top priority) so we can once again have life in this building.
We recognize that some folks aren’t quite ready to attend a live show, so we are happy to provide a streaming version of the production as well. We hope you enjoy Analog & Vinyl with whichever viewing option makes you most comfortable.
Speaking of the building, not only are we returning to live performances, we are full steam ahead with construction for our long-awaited expansion project! After putting it on hold for a year due to the pandemic, we broke ground in May and we’re thrilled that you have the opportunity to watch the metamorphosis with us.
In this moment, with reopening and construction simultaneously underway, what excites us most is all the opportunities, like little seeds under the ground just sprouting, that lay before us. We’re not going to become a different company; we’re going to become a better company. The new facility will be not just an asset to Broadway Rose, but also to the community, with room for classes, meetings, workshops, and more. (Learn more about the project here.) The show you’re about to enjoy, Analog & Vinyl, is an example of our commitment to producing new musicals – another area of programming we plan to expand further once we have additional space.
Whether you are with us in the theater or watching from home, thank you for joining us. For some of you, the show is going to be a trip down memory lane, and we hope it evokes fond memories and meaningful connections you’ve made with music. And thank you also for being with us in this momentous time in the life of Broadway Rose. Because of you and your support, the best is yet to come.
Enjoy the show!
