Jack and the Beanstalk

A 50-minute children’s musical

Enjoy this zany original adaptation of one of the oldest stories ever told! Follow young Jack up the beanstalk and into the magical kingdom of a giant who sings and dances in this wacky musical for kids and families. This 50-minute musical features professional actors supported by an ensemble of young artists from Broadway Rose’s kids summer drama camp. After the show, the audience is invited to meet the cast!

Program Cover Contest

Drawings by various fifth graders of scenes from Jack and the Beanstalk. They are our contest winners, each drawing being used on a variation of the Kids Summer Production's program handed out to all attendees. Broadway Rose hosts an annual contest for children at local elementary schools in conjunction with the Tigard-Tualatin School District Art Literacy program. Students create artwork for the children’s productions and winning illustrations are chosen to appear on the cover of the show program handed to attendees of each performance.

This year's winning illustrations were by fifth graders Angel A., Daycee M., Kasey P., Lana A., Raegan S., and Scarlett S. from Deer Creek Elementary School. Congratulations, everyone!
