The stakes are high at the Jefferson County Bake-Off, where five strangers are ready to whisk, fold, and bake their way to the grand prize. A nail technician determined fit in. A shy school nurse who always puts others first. An ambitious young baker chasing her dream. A Brooklyn new comer with restaurant aspirations. The fiercely competitive reigning champion who definitely didn't get to the top by playing nice. As the competition heats up, tempers flare, rivalries rise, and a few contestants decide that winning is worth bending the rules. Who will win and who will get their “just desserts”? Packed with catchy songs, and plenty of laugh-out-loud moments, Just Desserts: A Musical Bake-Off is a sweet comedy that's equal parts heart, hilarity, and frosting.
