Welcome to Regards from Broadway Rose, your peek behind-the-curtain at all that’s happening at your favorite musical theatre company!
We are at full capacity once again this summer as our operations stretch through every corner of two facilities, and as artists of every age and stage strengthen and share their craft at our theatre. You’ll see in the following stories how integral our technical internship program is in the success of our ambitious summer projects: the spectacular mainstage production of Newsies, the delightful romp of our children’s production Jack and the Beanstalk, and the unique storytelling of Hadestown: Teen Edition.
You’ll also read more of Dan’s reflections and learn about the staff member he has mentored to fill his shoes. Is it possible to replace Dan? Absolutely not. Is it possible to carry on his legacy? I think so.

Broadway Rose's education programs have experienced remarkable growth over the past several years, expanding opportunities for students of all ages to discover the joy of musical theatre. What began as a handful of seasonal camps has blossomed into a year-round lineup of classes, workshops, and performance experiences designed to inspire creativity, build confidence, and strengthen our community through the arts.

If you ask Broadway Rose Operations Manager Madison Conrad what a typical day looks like, don’t expect a straightforward answer. “Do you want my day yesterday, today, or three weeks ago?” she laughs. “Because you’ll get drastically different answers.” That unpredictability is exactly what makes her job so essential.
